ABOUT This is a piece commissioned by Blånagla Art Fest. It emerges from the Swedish trumpet signal ”ceasefire”. This signal was played in Ådalen 1931 when the Swedish military opened fire at a general strike organized by workers. You can clearly hear the signal in the beginning of the piece.

ABOUT This is a piece commissioned by Unga Tankar om Musik and Norrlandsmusiken. It has a non-traditional instrumentation since the Orchestra was based on the members of UTOM. I would consider it a cross-over piece with romantic and improvisational elements.

ABOUT This is a cross-over piece for a non-traditional chamber-ensemble with a tenor saxophone soloist. At the time I was deeply inspired by Alexander Scriabins music, specifically his piano concerto in F sharp minor movement 2.

ABOUT This is a piece where I’ve used the classic march music as a starting point. It pivots into something else quit fast but has clear rhythmic motifs through the whole piece.
